Getting Started
The path to owning a City Kidz™ Ice Cream Café is an exciting journey. We will work with you to complete the multi-phased process beginning with your completed licensee application.
Phase 1
- Complete and submit license application with $1,500 fee.
- Process Credit Check.
- Process Criminal background check.
- Provide proof of citizenship or Permanent Resident/Alien Registration Card.
- Provide proof of assets.
Phase 2
- City Kidz™ Day. Due Diligence: discussions with City Kidz Executives at Northeast Region Headquarters.
- Generate Business Plan.
Phase 3
- Enhanced Background check.
- Present Business Plan to City Kidz Executives.
Phase 4
- Licensee approval.
- Sign Single or Multi-Unit Licensing Agreement. At this time you will pay a license & management fee of $15,000 to $40,000 depending on which ownership option you choose.
- Approve site.
- Secure financing.
Phase 5
- Finalize lease/purchase.
- Begin Construction.
- Begin Equipment Training.
- Grand Opening.
