Getting Started

The path to owning a City Kidz™ Ice Cream Café is an exciting journey. We will work with you to complete the multi-phased process beginning with your completed licensee application.

Phase 1

  • Complete and submit license application with $1,500 fee.
  • Process Credit Check.
  • Process Criminal background check.
  • Provide proof of citizenship or Permanent Resident/Alien Registration Card.
  • Provide proof of assets.

Phase 2

  • City Kidz™ Day. Due Diligence: discussions with City Kidz Executives at Northeast Region Headquarters.
  • Generate Business Plan.

Phase 3

  • Enhanced Background check.
  • Present Business Plan to City Kidz Executives.

Phase 4

  • Licensee approval.
  • Sign Single or Multi-Unit Licensing Agreement. At this time you will pay a license & management fee of $15,000 to $40,000 depending on which ownership option you choose.
  • Approve site.
  • Secure financing.

Phase 5

  • Finalize lease/purchase.
  • Begin Construction.
  • Begin Equipment Training.
  • Grand Opening.
